Some Important Points About IBPS PO Exam
  1. In exam If you are able to score 60% marks with 90% accuracy, you will surely be through.
  2. Sectional cut off marks on an average fall between the bracket of 4–12 marks per section which clearly suggests that one need not be a master of all the sections while preparing for this prestigious exam.
  3. Accuracy is the key. I repeat, ‘Accuracy’ is the key to success in IBPS PO exam. IBPS marking system works on the basis of ‘Percentile’ so it’s always better to attempt only those questions which you are confident
  4. Never assume which questions will be asked in the exam or which type of difficulty level can be asked. They can change the pattern as per their convenience and requirement. Your job is to prepare for the worst case scenario.

Study Plan for IBPS PO Exam Preparation
  1. Divide your Day in three Category → Must Do Daily Activity , Chapter Wise Preparation & Mock Test Practice.
  2. Must Do Activity (Give 3 Hr Daily for These Activity)→ Reading News Paper, Cramming Vocabulary, Reading News Paper, Learning Speed Math Techniques( cramming Tables, squares, cube, fractions etc.). Remember Current affairs is current activity don’t make it past one.
  3. Mock Practice (Daily 2 hr) → As we all Know without lots of practice we can’t crack any exam, so you will have to give lots of mock test before exam and analyze it Properly. Get Oliveboard Mock Test.
  4. Chapter-Wise Preparation (2 Hour for all three subject)→ With Mock test you will also have to practice chapter-wise (Only Important and High Weightage) Questions. when you solve chapter-wise, solve it with in time, like 60 questions in 35–45 min, then only it will help you in exam.
Don’t demotivate with Mocks Test score - The biggest myth that candidate have in their mind is that they take mock to check how good they are but it should be to know where they can Improve themselves. Also who are not scoring good marks in Mock Test, they feel that it’s waste of preparation and it is end of road for them. Keep Practicing regularly you can make it in exam.
You get to know your strong and weak areas, You can categorize your Preparation level based on below method and work on the Improvement.
  1. Good Speed, Good Accuracy: You are already good but do regular practice.
  2. Good Speed, Bad Accuracy: Look at your practice answers. Where is the mistake happening? Is there a pattern? Assess and improve.
  3. Bad Speed, Bad Accuracy: Put in the most focus into this section. Work by researching on easy tips and techniques to improve the speed and accuracy for these types of questions.
  4. Bad Speed, Good Accuracy: Practice, Practice hard, Practice more. Practice each questions by setting timer. Try to apply short tricks. Practice will improve speed. Get easy strategies on improving and keeping the momentum that are available by us.

Numerical Ability :
  1. Quantum CAT by Servesh Verma (L1 & L2)
  2. Daily Quizzes and Sectional Test ( Adda247, gradeup, affairs cloud, bsc4successc etc.)
Reasoning :
  1. Try to solve as many quiz as possible online . No book is needed for this section.
  2. Focus On High Level Puzzle and New Pattern Question (In Prelim Exam 22 out of 35 Questions will be from Puzzle same even in Mains Exam.)
  3. Follow Online PDFs for New Pattern Coding Decoding, Input Output, Reverse Syllogism.
English :
  1. English - Read daily Hindu for at least for 1–2 hour
  2. Daily Quizzes and Sectional Test ( Adda247, grade up, affairs cloud)
General Awareness :
  1. BSC magazine on banking awareness ( basics and advanced level covered for the exam)
  2. BankersAdda Capsule/Affairs Cloud Daily Current Affairs
  3. Watch my videos on banking and Economic Affairs, no need to other source.
