How to Prepare for RBI Assistant Prelims Exam in Twenty Days - Grade Up


Every year lakhs of candidates compete for limited number of job opportunities. This year also the number of job opportunities as compared to number of applicants is very less. Therefore the applicants should study in a smart manner to get job at earliest. Reserve Bank of India has invited applications for the post of RBI Assistant. The exam will be conducted in three phases:-
  1.  Preliminary Exam – 100 marks – Qualifying.
  2.  Main Exam – 200 Marks – Merit based on this exam.
  3. Interview – 100 Marks – Merit Based on this exam.
The preliminary exam will be conducted after Twenty days (approx.). In order to get selected for this post the candidates are required to clear this exam. Through this article we will be sharing a smart study plan to prepare for preliminary exam in Twenty days. The pattern of this exam is:-

Although the syllabus for this exam is vast but there are certain topics which hold maximum weightage. A smart study plan is a must to cover these topics. The topics are needed to be covered keeping following these in mind:-

Direction sense - questions based on the directions given for a particular object in rest or motion.
Reading comprehension- 3, Verbs.

Day5
Average, Mixture and Allegation
Inequality - Direct and Indirect
Reading comprehension- 3, Article.
Essay on current topic.
Day6
Number Series - Missing number, wrong number series.
Input - output, including new pattern asked in SBI PO mains 2017
Reading comprehension- 3, Noun.
Essay on current topic.
Day7
Simple Interest and Compound Interest.
Coding Decoding – Old and new Pattern both.
Reading comprehension- 3, Pronoun.
Essay on current topic.
Day8
Problems based on ages, partnership.
Data Sufficiency- including questions based on three or more than three statements, Decision Making.
Reading comprehension- 3, Adjective.
Essay on current topic.
Day9
Time and Work, Pipes and Cisterns – As per recent trends questions from these topics are asked with a lot change in concept, therefore solve all recent questions of these topics.

This is the most important topic of this exam. The candidates can expect maximum questions from this topic; therefore the candidates are requested to make themself comfortable with this topic.

Use ratio and percentage method for quick calculations.

Try to remember squares of number 1 to 50, cubes of numbers from 1 to 20, and reciprocals in terms of percentage and vice versa.
